Q. Do I have to be a Large Water or wastewater company to use inFRA

A. No, inFRA can be used by everyone to assess the impact of flooding on them.  The solution can be used to understand single events from one flooding source up to modelling tens of thousands of potantial sources of flooding.

Q. How is 2D Modelling Different from the 1D method that I am using now ?

A. The inFRA 2D modelling differes from the traditional 1D models in that it can take into account divergent/recombining paths and ponding. The 1D models suffer from oversimplification of flood flows which are assumed to be unidirectional.

Q. What results does the model produce ?

A. For each point that is modelled the inFRA solution predicts the flood depths, velocities and extents.  This allows the impact of the flooding on property and other infrastructure to be accurately understood.
